The Way I See It # 76

I found this quote about commitment on the back of my Starbucks cup.  I couldn't help but share it.  It reminds me of my commitment to Jesus, and my will-be commitment to Russell.

"The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating - in work, in play, in love.  The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation.  To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life."

Because I do have such a harsh 'internal critic', this quote breathed some fresh air into my lungs.  Because I tend to like things controlled and predictable. This quote does away with the fear, removes its head actually, and leaves only the heart.
